or waffles? or obscene-sounding-hasthtags-that-arent-really-obscene written into car back windows? or at least some mention of chris riley mixing boxed win with orange soda....you know, to class it up?

I've been thinking about this for some time and looked at the PMP and other tracks. I'm hoping this relatively new organization makes a good push forward and I like their connection to traditional academia. I believe this will continue to evolve so it will be interesting to try to codify what we really do for companies in this way.. Here's to the journey!

You've brought up an important point. How does one evolve beyond just the tech? How can you be become not just a technical resource, but a resource for the organization?

While I've been working down this path, finding the right certification is interesting. I'm going to look at the one you have listed, but I'm also looking at Information Professional certifications that are aimed at the business side of managing information, which is basically what SharePoint does at its core.
